Tot in 2015 had het VLIZ in de duinen van Nieuwmunster-De Haan een serrecomplex in beheer dat kon worden gebruikt voor onderzoek van kustvegetaties. Duinen, schorren, polders). Prof Dr Lora Elderkin Fleming receives the Prize Dr Edouard Delcroix 2013 VLIZ (Verhaeghe, Els). With a value of 2 500 EUR.
