Marion Cross fine art. Land - Sea and Urban. As the different pages display the type of work I do, from realistic representation to total abstraction, working in many different media, the question has often been asked: ‘Which media do you really prefer? The answer to that is that I enjoy them all. The one feeds the other, and as a pencil sketch gives momentum to an abstract, so an oil painting done ‘alla prima’on the beach or in the vineyard can trigger a watercolour, or the other way around.
