There are a number of techniques both old and new at play here ranging from dubby guitar treatments and delay filters in the opening track, through field-recording and ambient soundscapes in the second track to a more synthesiser based approach and experiments with LFO filters in the last two tracks. This started out as a techno style track with down-pitched, tom tom bass side-chained to the kick drum and dub techno chords created from scratch in Abletons Operator synth. All very interesting and a great learning experience but the results were very predictable and a bit dull to be honest. Its quite a poppy sound I think. Released May 14, 2015.
