Thursday, November 1, 2012. Don’t think you are, know you are! This Sunday I’ll be running in my 19th Half Marathon. Whenever I run a race, I have high expectations… usually it’s to beat a previous Personal Record (PR). However, that PR number at times seems so far out of reach. That’s when I think of one of my favorite scenes from The Matrix. 8220;What are you waiting for? And know that I am. I hope you realize this too and knock the crap out of your PR! Wednesday, April 9, 2014. I’ve been enjoying the last couple of weeks as my running has become more natural after being laid off from running for 5 weeks. I’ve only been training for the last 6 weeks, but feel that I can knock out a marathon before the summer months. I know that it won’t be an optimal race, but I’m really itching for a big race. Mark 262: Knee Surgery Update

Friday, March 20, 2015. As mentioned in my previous post, the MRI showed that there was a radial tear of my meniscus. However, once they got in there with their HD camera, they found out that it was not. Torn and that there was a bunch of fraying of the meniscus. The doctor was able to clean up the fraying. Above are the before pictures and below are the after pictures. Since the meniscus does not have to be stitched together, I can definitely run again! As well, my recovery should be easier and shorter.
