Notes from Grandma Q. Sunday, May 31, 2009. Since Cory and Jacob (with Zion and Enoch) are moving to Texas, we had a potluck at Yvonne and David's. Lots of good food and good visiting. Cinnamon with her husband and daughter Moriah - Yvonne, as you can tell, looks great. She just finished putting a roof on Joshua's house and is working full time as a pharmacist tech. Notes from Grandma Q. Sunday, March 22, 2009. CONNECTICUT and DEBBIE'S BOYS. CJ went to a retreat for the weekend (sounded like youth conference to me) so Rainer had a friend over and we played Settlers until the wee hours. It was a lot of fun. After we picked C. J. up in Rhode Island after his retreat and dropped off a couple of his friends, we stopped at a maple sugar farm. We really had a time finding it - certainly could have used Jeff's Sally. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. It seems so crazy that my baby is already one! He had a wonderful birthday, actually he didn't have a clue that it was any different from any other day. But I'd like to think that he enjoyed himself, after all he DID get to eat a cookie and have a huge slice of cake. That's pretty great! Some of his favorite things right now are. He squeals and grins every time he hears the music on the TV. He is normally blocked from them, but any chance he gets he climbs those things like crazy.

My Mom and I ended up in this one spot and then suddenly we see Kirk Adams making his way over towards us. From August 27, 2012. I totally didn't even see Sara Palin. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Weddings and Winter Wonderlands. We spent just over a week in Utah over the break to have Christmas with the Gale family in a lodge in Alpine - right next to Sundance Ski Resort - and to go to uncle Nathan and Jessica's wedding. The lodge was huge, but with as much family as was there it was still a tight fit on the one floor that we were on. We snowboarded which rules! Overall it was a great break.
