A few weeks ago, one of my class discussions turned to the subject of humor, specifically the ramifications that could occur if a company doesn’t use humor properly. Then bingo, Denny’s gives me a perfect example of the WRONG. Kind of humor to use in a marketing campaign! In January, Denny’s won over 2 million people with its Grand Slam Giveaway. Sorry, Denny’s. This, unfortunately, is not humor. One million people died.
