Rock Climbing, Fly Fishing, Ski Mountaineering, ect. Thursday, April 30, 2009. East Ridge of Timpanogos. Left home at 3:30, started walking at 5. Fly on the mountain. Traverse route to southeast summit. A bit steep. An ice axe brings comfort here. Looking down the west face into Provo. Tempting. Ridge on this line. Loop trail back to Aspen Grove. Elk Point slide path has produced some HUGE slides recently. The incredible power of avalanches. Time for a burger. Monday, April 27, 2009.
