Our Family of 4.....: December 2009
http://thesapp4.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 17, 2009. We awoke to an unexpected sight this morning. Everything was covered with snow! Traffic was very slow this morning since this is not common and therefore most people here are not used to driving on snow covered roads. But that is relative I guess, because there really is very little traffic here anyway since the majority of the locals ride their bicycles everywhere, even in the snow! However, many people where walking their bikes today instead of riding them. On another proud...

Our Family of 4.....: Point 'em Straight and Go!
http://thesapp4.blogspot.com/2010/01/point-em-straight-and-go.html
Sunday, January 24, 2010. Point 'em Straight and Go! On Christmas evening we loaded up 13 people into 2 vehicles and we were on our way to Colorado. All the kids were sleeping and the drive was going good until we reached Decatur. Snow storms had blown through a couple of days previously and the roads were still covered (very thickly) with ice and snow. We spent about 3 hours driving between 10-20 mph! The passengers in our caravan included the four of us, my dad, my aunt, my sister and her 3 kids, both ...

Our Family of 4.....: Busy, Busy, Busy
http://thesapp4.blogspot.com/2010/05/busy-busy-busy.html
Monday, May 10, 2010. Busy, Busy, Busy. I know I promised pictures, but shortly after the last post, we moved! My computer with all the pictures is not a laptop, therefore it did not come on the airplane with us. Also, while our house is empty and we are waiting for our belongings to cross the sea to us, we are taking this opportunity to do some major home remodeling. Therefore, I have had no time to sit down and relax and do things like blog! Glad yall are back. Cant wait to see you! Brenda and the Boys.

Our Family of 4.....: April 2010
http://thesapp4.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 11, 2010. Yes, I am still here! Another reason I was really looking forward to being home in the USA by now was to join my family today as they participated in the Run for the Rose which benefits brain cancer research. My sister assembled a team of 47 people who participated in honor of my dad. It was a great turnout for a great cause. You can read about their day on my sister's blog. If you are interested, it is not to late to donate to the cause. You can do so by following this link.

Our Family of 4.....: Dag Sinterklaas!
http://thesapp4.blogspot.com/2009/12/dag-sinterklaas.html
Saturday, December 5, 2009. After a great evening of partying, we came home and the kids were getting ready for bed when the doorbell rang. Outside the door was a sac of presents from Sinterklaas and the kids were ecstatic. Tomorrow Sinterklaas will get back on his boat and travel back to Spain until next year. This is another Dutch tradition that the kids have really enjoyed. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Brenda and the Boys. Five Makes a Family. The Greener Side of the Fence.
