If one person can change, that change could impact many:. All mankind is of one author and is one volume; every chapter must be translated. God employs many translators; some by age, some by sickness, some by war, some by justice; but God's hand is in every translation, and His hand shall bind up all our scattered leaves again for that library where every book lie open to another. -adapted by Jonne Donne. Friday, October 8, 2010. Driving Luke to school. Luke: Mom, you sound like Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookie. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. You should have seen the fabric lady's face (at Hobby Lobby) when I told her that I was pairing the blue/gray striped fabric with the black/white cheetah print. Now I'm going to have to find some fabric to make one for Cami's window. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Driving Luke to school. The Chase is On. The Hypothetical Third Dimension. http://oasisofblue.blogspot.com/2011/12/congratulations-youve-won-cheap-ass.html
Tuesday, December 6, 2011. You've won a cheap ass gift! I filled it out. The next week, Cass gets a call. We've won a door prize! It's a set of sake glasses. That sounds pretty cool, right? So we stop by there to pick up our wonderful door prize. Here's what they gave us. A big, cool package. A) I'm glad we didn't go back for another meal when we picked up the gift, and b) I'm pretty sure they've managed to lose our business with this marketing genius. Its a sushi place, not a Thai place. :-). I am a for...

Oasis of Blue: April 2011
http://oasisofblue.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 28, 2011. 2 days (and more). I was only able to run 2 days this week. Blah. 4/22 1.82 miles. 4/27 3.17 miles. Total 4.99 miles. I lost my sanity for a moment and bought tickets to take the girls to the Taylor Swift concert in Austin. Cami saw the ad for it and started begging. I was able to get tickets through a pre-sale available to AmEx members. The concert isn't until October 26 - 6 months from now. Oy. Still no rain in Austin. Friday, April 22, 2011. 4/15 2.04 miles. The little blurb ...

Oasis of Blue: Crunchy as hell
http://oasisofblue.blogspot.com/2012/05/crunchy-as-hell.html
Thursday, May 24, 2012. We're getting solar panels on our house. Lighthouse Solar. Has been canvassing our neighborhood for a while now, and we've even had them look at our roof to evaluate if we can get panels. The first observation was that we didn't have a large enough roof space on the south and southwest sides to accomodate enough panels. May 24, 2012 at 10:42 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Oasis of Blue: September 2010
http://oasisofblue.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. Since we moved to a new place, Cameron decided that she wanted to be known as 'Cami'. So I filled out all her school paperwork with her new nickname. If I'm not thinking about it, I'll just revert to the default name. But sometimes I can remember to call her Cami. So here's the result. Now I'm starting to think about making some curtains. Saturday, September 25, 2010. There have been 3 places where I just feel like "it fits.". Thursday, September 23, 2010. She loves this she...

Saturday, February 26, 2011. Soon we will have 2 children in braces. Joy. Logan got hers back in December. We were waiting on Cami's, because she had some adult teeth that needed root development. They x-rayed her yesterday, and she's ready. $ $. It will be a miracle if we live through Luke's 2nd grade year. I have nearly had. it. I may not be able to wait until the end of the school year to march into the principal's office and give them an earful. Why do I always get stuck planning stuff? This was take...
