When we got to the village, we spent the night in this guest room, sharing a mattress (that was extra-special, as generally we'd sleep on a woven mat on the wood floor) but sleeping under our own mosquito nets. Our room was up these two flights of stairs - green door on right was the bathroom.

Saturday, July 14, 2012. I had SO MUCH FUN planning this meal to fool my children! This was a meatloaf cake filled with peas and iced with mashed potatoes. These "grilled cheese sandwiches" were really pound cakes filled with icing. I really fooled them! Don't think they'll ever forget THIS April Fool's Day!
