This task extracts snippets of text from files, placing them into properties in the Ant project. These properties can then be used by any other Ant task, and are particularly useful when referenced by filters within the copy task. jar2sh jar wrapper for Linux

May 4, 2009. Jar2sh is a bash shell script that wraps Java applications into bash scripts that can be run without any installation. It's sort of like launch4j. If jar2sh does not meet your needs, perhaps jnix. The jar files comprising the application are bundled via tar and gzip. A unique "bundle id" is computed based upon the md5 of the result and a timestamp. The target shell script is written and includes the contents of this tar.gz file. For usage information, just run [jar2sh] with no arguments.

I found several parsers on the Internet, all of which handled switches, but none of which had the versatility I wanted in terms of return types and configuration files. Hence JSAP - the Java Simple Argument Parser. So what does JSAP actually do, then? Parse the command line. For any omitted parameters, look for values in /.yourProgramName.conf. How do I get it?
