Virtual Enviroments

Monday, 8 December 2008. The poster has now be finished and added into Chris. Scene This is the point where that animation will end. I had a couple of problems doing this which started with creating it in Adobe Indesign. A program i used at college for a year and always got along well with. Not in this case however, the pictures where coming out rather pixelated. So to counter this i saved all my text and boarder as a PDF. And opened them in photoshop. I then used this to input. This is a 1 material that...

Virtual Enviroments: Personal Aims

http://martin-virtualenviroments.blogspot.com/2008/11/personal-aims.html

Thursday, 6 November 2008. Within the YMCA project i have looked at new and different areas to concentrate on. Previously i have only done very basic modelling, mapping and animation and this semester i plan to extend my knowledge by quite a degree. First of all i am planning on learning a lot. More complicated and i look forward to learning how to animate it. Thirdly my models this semester are a lot. More complex and rather then going through the problems i had last year and making the most complex.

Virtual Enviroments: Sound Editing

http://martin-virtualenviroments.blogspot.com/2008/12/sound-editing.html

Friday, 5 December 2008. I have found a song to use on my animation and have been cutting it down to fit the video. I am currently rendering my animation so i can see if the song lines up or if i will have to go back to the original sound file and re edit it. This is my first attempt at sound editing so i am a little nervous about the outcome. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Virtual Enviroments: Todays Acheivements

http://martin-virtualenviroments.blogspot.com/2008/11/todays-acheivements.html

Thursday, 6 November 2008. Well today i managed to complete a few more objects for my scene, i finished off my guitar, created a bass guitar and i also created some turntables. I may have gone slightly over board with the turntables by adding 2 monitors to them. These may be taking away before the end. Pictures will follow tomorrow. I will update this post tomorrow with pictures and videos, untill then im going to attempt to sleep. I'm loving the Turntables! 8 November 2008 at 06:12. A bit of choreography.

Virtual Enviroments: Getting there

http://martin-virtualenviroments.blogspot.com/2008/11/getting-there.html

Wednesday, 19 November 2008. I have animated all of my characters on stage now and made my camera move around the room. I am going to be changing the camera path soon and making the animation a little longer so that i can show the different models i have created and give a better view of the animations. Ahhh, thats well good! 19 November 2008 at 16:08. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A rather large problem. A bit of choreography. It done, at last. On a roll, Drum roll that is! Virtual Environments: wk 10: Did you know that lights have bones?

http://paulsvirtualenvironments.blogspot.com/2008/11/wk-10-did-you-know-that-lights-have.html

Tuesday, 25 November 2008. Wk 10: Did you know that lights have bones? Captains log, Star date 569709: Well yes they do. mine do anyway! 4 The problems started when I linked the cable to the lighting case because when I moved the light case the cable followed the centre of the case and not the point that it enters into the case. As you can see below it messes itself up by turning inside out! Now I have done one light I can copy it for the other lights and start to animate them all over again! PS Just for...

Virtual Environments: wk 12: The last legs...

http://paulsvirtualenvironments.blogspot.com/2008/12/wk-12-last-legs.html

Thursday, 11 December 2008. Wk 12: The last legs. Captains log, Star date 569716: Me, Matt and Amy presented our work so far on Tuesday, it was just a shame that we did not have all of our rooms rendered. We explained our storyboard and the concept of our advert which is simple and hopefully understand-abubble! Below is a shot of my beloved characters! Some are grooving some are jumping around whilst others are head banging or waving their arms. I went for the cheesy operator effect which is why I'm not ...

Virtual Environment: October 2008

http://djmve.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Friday, 31 October 2008. WEEK 6- GETTTING THERE! The process took a long time to finish, but i am pleased with the bits of my face that I have done. Thursday, 30 October 2008. WEEK 6 carry on-UVW MAP. Wednesday, 29 October 2008. I created the sphere, looked on the internet and clicked on the images to see if it match the colour of my eyes. Unfortunately they do not match so saved the image. The front looked good but when circulate it, I realised the eyes are too far back. Ohhh, I will sort it later.

Virtual Environment: December 2008

http://djmve.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 3 December 2008. I have changed the Biped footprinter and camera a few times because the walking pattern was not right nor was the camera. I finally got it right and am pleased with it. It was difficult to work with especially when turning but overall I am happy with my project. Tuesday, 2 December 2008. The character and biped are martin's. I just added the material and face. Virtual Environments Group: Questions for YMCA

http://macs-ve.blogspot.com/2008/09/questions-for-ymca.html

Tuesday, 23 September 2008. Just if anyone has any other ideas for questions to ask when we visit the YMCA on monday. So far I have thought of:. Is there any limitations to what we can do? Does the advertisment have to be done in a certain way? Example does it have to be serious or can we add humour? Is there anything we have to include? Is there anything we can't include? Which topic is the highest priority? How long does the animation need to be? Virtual Environments Group Blog. View my complete profile.

Virtual Environments: Testing Movement

http://virtualenvironmentslisa.blogspot.com/2008/12/testing-movement.html

Saturday, 6 December 2008. This is one of the silhouettes created and has been put into the final scene, however I thought I would take this video to show it's movement as it is not that clear/visible in the final product. The silhouette is 'controlling' the toy train, and watching it move at the same time. If you look closely, you will be able to see the arms and head move. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Virtual Environments: Evaluation

http://virtualenvironmentslisa.blogspot.com/2008/12/evaluation.html

Thursday, 11 December 2008. So, we have now finally finished the project and have put everything together using Premier Pro. This project has been quite interesting and fun to do, although stressful at the same time! I enjoyed making the toy train move along with the light shining, I felt this was quite enjoyable to watch so should be no problem to entertain children with this advert! As well as using the Biped (again this could be improved on had I figured out how to fix the envelopes problem). Subscrib...

Virtual Environments: Premier Pro

http://virtualenvironmentslisa.blogspot.com/2008/12/premier-pro.html

Thursday, 11 December 2008. After all the members of the group had completed their scenes, it was time for all the scenes to be joined up together with music included. Luke, Rich and myself managed to edit the videos in Premier Pro. Techniques used were cutting parts of videos and fading music to match the scenes appropriately (animation movements in time with the music beats etc). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
