Skip to main content. A little old, but here's the big buckle I won from the Leadman Tri. In Bend, Oregon a couple months ago! The race was 2.5km swim, 106kmbike and 12km run. I am an Iron(wo)man! Welcome back to work surprise :) so awesome! Ironman Canada (Whistler) - 5 weeks to go! Olympic distance champion at the 2013 Subaru Vancouver Triathlon :). Solid . yes, solid race! Yes, it was a solid race. I don't know why it's so hard to admit that, but it is eventhough it was a solid race! S6 - 10min a day.

I could get used to that last part! I lost a bit of time in T1 cleaning off my sunglasses, it had been raining all morning and they were too fogged up to see through. The guy next to me on the rack took the time to towel off! Did I mention it was raining? So they'd move over. It was pretty spread out though, not s terribly crowded course.

I had decided pre-race that a 1:50 or faster race was doable, and in fact a PR was well within my reach, however 2/3 of the way through the race reality was viciously kicking in. 6 - 8:39 (ate a gel).

Det roligaste med turen, som verkligen gjorde den värd att åka så långt var att sand borda. Vi gick upp för en 60 meter lång backe av sand. Därifrån åkte vi ner på mage på en bräda. Det var roligt! Dagen efter turen till fyren åkte vi ut på en fyra timmars lång delfintur. Vi åkte en mindre båt ifrån hamnen som tog oss ut på öppet hav, där de höll utkik efter delfinerna.
