Although it is possible to work on artefacts such as doors and chests, or archaeological timbers, much of the work I do is focussed on dating timber-framed buildings, or roofs in stone/brick buildings. It is always difficult to keep up to date with all the reports produced, and so I've added this page to give a flavour of what is going on! March 2015 - Tollesbury Hall, Essex - using Bayesian modelling through OxCal - the felling date range for the timbers used has been found to be 1265-72 - confirming the dates suggested by building historians. Lundi 6 février 2017. L'étape du tour 2016. They made it easy! Without a doubt the easie. ok the least difficult of the 4 étapes i've done so far. The 4-col étape route was redrawn due to a high-rock-fall risk on the Col de Ramaz (a Cat 1 climb), a climb that was therefore removed from the route. This meant 123km from Megève to Morzine via the Cols des Avaris, de la Colombière and la Joux Plane. Things had settled down by the time we arrived 6 or so hours later.thankfully.
