Bella and I had decided that it would be awesome if we could raise some extra money before our trip so that once we got to the village we could donate the funds to things that were needed on the spot. Just walking in to the village you are filled with a warm fuzzy feeling as the kids all call out "Hello" and race up to greet you - I wish I could describe the feeling but I can't put it into words it is just the best feeling ever! Saturday, 9 April 2011. At our hotel with our Cambodian Friends. After our visit to the building block we invited Tevin, Socheat and Sok back to our hotel for a swim -this was the first time any of them had visited a hotel, so there was much excitement! Sok's face which is always very expressive was an absoloute picture when we took her up to our toom in the lift - she had never been in a lift before.Another reminder for us how we take so many everyday things for granted. Tuesday, 29 March 2011. A visit to the building block. Donna suggested a trip to the building block would give us an understanding of where some of our kids have come from.
