Shore and Boat fishing. Tuesday, 30 September 2014. Nice to see more fish starting to show. Went down the beach with my two sons and for a change the fish wanted to play. Between us we had about 40 fish. Fish caught flounder coalies codling and whiting all fish were returned alive. Fished all the way up from low tide to high tide. Good night. Shore and Boat fishing. Wednesday, 28 August 2013. After digging bait with my 2 sons we headed to Cairn Ryan to meet up with Will who had been catching some fresh mackerel for the nights session. We headed to Port Patrick after a nice bag of chips and Wills dinner had cooled down enough to eat. Shore and Boat fishing. Monday, 24 February 2014. Well this years event on the Tay was not as eventful as last year. Went up with Eddie and my son Shane. Stewart and the lads were already there when we arrived. Fished most of the morning and not a take. I decided to try further up the river hoping to connect with one and I come across Eddie and he had landed a small trout. Well it's my turn to listen to Eddie on the way home. lol. Shore and Boat fishing. Wednesday, 18 December 2013. Shore and Boat match. In the last couple of weeks I have been out to our last boat match at loch Etive. We had hired the charter boat to fish the match. As always the skipper was first class. He kept the tea and coffee coming and us on the fish. It was good to see one of our junior anglers getting her first spur. Well done Victoria. Also attended the last shore match which was held at Arbroath. Some nice fish were caught. Shore and Boat fishing. Wednesday, 27 November 2013. Went on a wee fishing trip to Port Patrick. A few fish about but not as many as I thought there would be. Shore and Boat fishing. Wednesday, 31 July 2013. We had a match down at Port Patrick. The sun was shining down and the sea looked good. We all headed for our chosen marks. First time fishing this area and it amazed me the amount of rip pull there was in the water. All the other guys had the same problem as I found out later on. At the end of the match there was flounder, plaice, dabs, coalies, tub and grey gurnards, launce, and the old doggies. Some nice edible crabs were caught too. Monday, 29 July 2013.
