Nine Frame Analysis 1. This shot is typical to most films according to Todorov's theory. It states that most films start with a sense of equilibrium. The shot is well lit, showing the whole family smiling, not knowing zombies are about to come running through the streets. The next shot is a high angle shot, showing people fleeing from zombies. This is the disequilibrium stage of Todorov's theory and from here stems the dilema, in this case a highly contagious virus causing people to turn into zombies.
