From Earth to Heaven (written on Sunday September 29). Monthly Archives: July 2015. A lazy last day. July 24, 2015. The villa has some nice bushes and plants. I suppose the clue was in the name! Today was rather uneventful. On the way back we called into a caravaniray, where camels used to overnight on the Silk Road. We could not travel any further until all the documents had been signed off and passports stamped. This morning was very lazy. We travelled down the Mekong, and then along a tributary to Chau Doc. An important part of a visit to the country, is the meeting of the children with the sponsors. This took place in a recreational park, which also has some animals etc. I had already met my newly sponsored boy the day before, and so I was free to take photographs of this event.
