Keeping In Touch!: July 2012
http://lornakarren.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Mission Call- November 3, 2011. I am so proud of my mom and dad for leaving everything behind to serve a mission. The only thing I can think of better than serving a mission is having a family.now they have done both. :). Sledding Novemeber 19, 2011. We didn't get much snow this winter so when it came we had to take advantage of it. Being nine months pregnant I didn't go down the hill, but Rebekah and Ryan had a fun time. Look at that beautiful face! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Keeping In Touch!: August 2010
http://lornakarren.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 2, 2010. Can I Possibly Be Spoiling Her? Rebekah is getting very opinionated. She knows what she wants and likes and is very content when she has it. But if I don't give it to her.she throws a fit. Hmmm.isn't it a little early for temper tantrums? Looking down the road.I would rather her not drink alcohol because we've taught her true principles and she doesn't want to rather than because we told her not to. I think I need to read a book on parenting! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wisconsin, United States. View my complete profile. Friday, October 9, 2009. It is now October 2009. Back in January, Paul petitioned the court for "a modification of maintenance" because of a "substantial change in circumstances." In other words, he doesn't think he should pay alimony because he lost the income from his second job. I finally got the court orders today, "Now, Therefore, it is ordered that petitioner's motion is denied.". So, even though I felt it was not right that his overtime and secon...

Wisconsin, United States. View my complete profile. Thursday, January 21, 2010. My hope is that I will be able to set aside time at least once a week, but hopefully daily, for reflection on my semester as a student teacher. We will be instructed on portfolio 3 and have the opportunity to talk to principals about the interview process and what they look for on a resume. I will also find out who my supervising professor will be and meet with him/her for about 2 hours. There will be time for lunch a...Hopef...

Wisconsin, United States. View my complete profile. Friday, October 15, 2010. Just a couple of random thoughts. What is my job? Well, wake up! I don't have to wonder anymore. I just keep doing what I have always done. I keep taking care of the kids and the house.by myself, like I have always done. The jobs that he did do.he called/paid someone to do. I CAN DO THAT! I think painting the house last weekend helped me come to this understanding too. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I think he got this at Lagoon.

Keeping In Touch!: A New Refridgerator
http://lornakarren.blogspot.com/2012/06/new-refridgerator.html
Sunday, June 24, 2012. Mama's and Daddy's fridge has had problems for a while and it came time to say good-bye to the old and in with the new. However, there was something in the way.a wall of the closet. No problem! We just took it out! You are going to like it when you get home. (we hope). Now there is a great big fridge/freezer and we can fix the wall in the coming weeks. It is 36 inches wide and about 6 feet tall. These pictures are for you, Mama and Daddy, so you can see just how big it is!

Monday, August 27, 2012. I wish I had the words to express what happened at the temple on August 18, 2012. The feelings of love and excitement were so strong and I am grateful that Melinda let me be a part of it. We went to the temple so that Melinda could do the endowment work for her mom, seal her mom to her parents, seal her parents together and then to finally seal herself to them. Lots of work to do! This experience strengthened my testimony and I am grateful to have been able to attend. Familie...

Sunday, March 11, 2012. The time came to cut off Rebekah's mullet this past January. I loved Cookie Cutters in Providence. Rebekah got to pick out a show to watch during her haircut. She picked her favorite. And didn't take her eyes off of the TV. She never smiles for the camera when I take her picture. She even got a pretty braid in her hair (sorry you can't see it very well). They have a fun slide in the waiting area. And you get a balloon, a cookie cutter, and a sucker when you are done! She liked loo...
