Somewhere over the Rainbow. We have all been here, one way or another. Searching for the perfect house, the perfect car, the perfect mate, the perfect day. I know there is a lot of perfection out there and all we have to do is open our eyes to it. We can look to the sky. We can look to the Earth. Remember what Dorothy said after she fought off flying monkeys, evil witches, mean trees throwing apples and all the other obstacles. Thrown in her way? Where did she find happiness? Happy Fourth of July! I sure hope you all had as much fun as I did on the fourth! Getting together with people you haven't seen in a long time. Or haven't even met before! What a wonderful way to spend the day. Peaches right off of the tree. Way too much food. (I am NOT complaining) My scale, maybe . Summer is going by sooo fast and it seems to be getting hotter as it goes along. The Garden is flourishing and the dog is slowly getting better, Now he just SMELLS like a hot dog! See the basil on top?

One special place of many. I have been away for a while. You know how it is . crazy . Isn't summer the time of year to relax more than the rest of the year? So I pulled this out. I just heard something very interesting. It appears that we are all, ALL! Genetically connected. I don't know about you but that concept kind of freaks me out. I finally made it to Alaska! Its been on my "bucket list" well, seeing the northern lights still is. but it was the wrong time of year. My nephew got married! Outdoors, nestled in a stand of birch trees ( a Big stand of trees). Family and friends got together to create this memorible occasion. such teamwork! Trees were still being cut and planed the morning of the service! And i saw a couple of moose! Links to this post. Been a long time.
