THE WALKING PEOPLE | Mary Beth Keane
http://www.marybethkeane.com/the-walking-people
Beautifully crafted story reminiscent of the best Mary Gordon or John MacGahern or Claire Keegan. She's got heart and subtlety all at once. Ichly moving . . . Sometimes heart-wrenching, sometimes joyous and tender - one of those stories that lingers in the reader's memory as a lived experience. Eane creates characters as believable as they are quietly decent and wise. Never heavy-handed, she allows us to journey with them as they slowly accumulate bits of life knowledge. Thursday, November 20, 2008. I really hate podcasts. Sorry Dr. Pierce but I think this is stupid. This is my website with my podcast on it and the rubric we are supposed to add with it. Thursday, November 6, 2008. Today we made a rubric. My rubric is designed to evaluate students that make a map of Asia. They are graded on the layout of the map, the legend and map keys, amd neatness and accuracy. This is my rubric. This standard seems to follow with NRTS standard number two. This also INTASC standard.
