Giving this turn of the century (19. Century, that is! Home a total makeover that respected its glorious federation architecture was no small feat! The bathroom and kitchen redesign reflected the heritage of the home yet brought luxury and modernity to it (including a temperature controlled wine cellar! Creating an atmosphere of warmth and comfort was the main brief for this modern two-storey townhouse. Having once been a stately Victorian terrace, the use of colour, texture and layering, combined with bespoke furniture and fittings (including an exquisite zinc topped dining table), made this home beautiful again. Stunning fabrics from Andrew Martin brought splashes of glamour, as did the gorgeous jewel-like joinery hardware in the newly designed bathrooms and kitchen. Phone: (02) 9130 5899.

Building on its European inspired architecture, this family home was transformed inside and out. An indoor/outdoor room extended the boundaries of the home and featured a fireplace, underfloor heating and an exquisite ceiling with timber beams sourced from an old bridge.
