August 19, 2008. A year ago today Maryn Yu-Meng was placed in our arms.it was the end of a very long wait and the beginning of a wonderful, exciting and fun journey. April 30, 2008. These pictures don't even need words! Big Brother and Little Sister. While Josh was away on his two band trips, Maryn's only playmate was Caleb and the two really had some fun together. It is so wonderful to see how Maryn has bonded with us and the love between these two is evident, even in these pictures. These are moments that I'll treasure for life! A Girl and Her Stuff. Oh the Messes We Make. What starts out as a small project sometimes becomes a bit bigger with the help of a toddler!

June 30, 2008. We've added a new family member over the weekend, Winston. Josh and Caleb have wanted a puppy for a long time and Maryn. Has loved every dog she sees. We were surprised. That she loves dogs the way she does because the orphanage told us she was afraid of small furry animals. Winston is a Shih. A mix between a Shih. He is little and will only be about 8-10 pounds fully grown. He has been great, only one accident so far. He even endures Maryn. She loves to hold him! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life Inspiring Faith Enriching. Sunday, May 1, 2011. Have you seen TLC's. New series called Extreme Couponing. I heard about it and was finally able to watch several episodes yesterday. I do think they are going to need a follow on show on how to use all those items purchased. For those who may not be aware of the concept, people collect massive amounts of coupons and after many hours of careful planning head to their grocery store and get tons of products for huge savings! I know I can't use 46 mustards.

I did well in the first session, terrible in the second and this week we started the third. Truth be told, I regained most of the weight I lost in the first session which is very frustrating. I'm now trying to get myself back on track. I'd really like to see the numbers decreasing on the scale, but it hasn't budged much, again frustrating.
