An adventure in fatherhood. Monday, May 17, 2010. Note to self: Sandals are not appropriate for school programs. Tonight was the Spring program for Faith Christian Academy’s Preschool classes. Between the morning and afternoon classes, there are about thirty-two kids of four and five years old. The Spring program is really just an excuse to get the kids on stage, show off what they’ve learned, and hopefully make some memories for the parents. Ryan seldom disappoints…. Just nine more songs to go. Ryan, Ja...

http://blog.joelpete.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
An adventure in fatherhood. Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Tonight was my first night coaching little league T-ball, and I do mean little; the players are all 4 and 5 years old. There are about 195 kids in the league, 18 teams, 10-11 players and two coaches per team. I of course am coaching Ryan’s team. We’re team number 16, and we wear light blue shirts. Next plan: let’s see what the coaches of the other team do. Apparently he has coached before, because he showed up with name tags. [note to self].
