As For Me And My Haus: ReMission Accomplished!
http://thehausams.blogspot.com/2009/04/remission-accomplished.html
Thursday at Dr. VanderMolen's office the doctor looked at Mother and said, "Well, I can tell you for certain that you are in remission.". It was, at first, disappointing to find out that the doctor still wants her to complete the entire, original treatment plan. That means seven more weeks of chemotherapy. That also means surgery, BUT instead of a mastectomy or lumpectomy that would require reconstructive surgery, now it'll be a minor, outpatient procedure! Mother with Bud and Penelope on Easter Sunday.

As For Me And My Haus: Update for The Margie McClure Pink Ribbon Prayer Team
http://thehausams.blogspot.com/2009/02/update-for-margie-mcclure-pink-ribbon.html
Update for The Margie McClure Pink Ribbon Prayer Team. This coming week she'll have several scans (full body, PET, CAT, etc.) and then have her first 5-hour chemo treatment next Thursday, 2/19. Dr. VanderMolen acknowledges that this regimen is going to be a doozie, but he's optimistic that if her treatment is aggressive she'll be cancer-free at the end of it. The woman is an inspiration. THANK YOU for your prayers, support, and outpouring of love! In the meantime, please know that 7 people (at least) in ...

http://thehausams.blogspot.com/2009/02/and-we-are-wheels-up.html
And, We Are Wheels Up. Mother had her first chemo session for her breast cancer on Thursday. Mrs. Positive Attitude reclined into the chair saying to the nurse, "OK, I'm settling into my imaginary first class seat on a flight to London and am now enjoying a constant flow of champagne (pointing to her chemo IV).". The nurse absolutely loved her attitude, "Alrighty then! If you need anything, just let any of the flight attendants know. We at British Airways are pleased to be at your service.". She is a ver...
