The idea of Matra Sansthan started off in 1999, when the two entrepreneurs came with the idea of supplying one school in the district of Gogunda, Phutiya with paper and pencils. This idea was carried out successfully, after which the idea of setting up an official NGO was launched. In August 2000, Matra Sansthan was a fact. Run by six people: Mr. Shri Bhopal Singh Arora. And Mr. Prem Singh Rajput. Wich includes medical checkups.

How to become a sponsor. If you wish to contribute, you can make the decision to become a donator. Your money would benefit the children, as all donations are spent on them; overhead costs are covered through personal funding. You can specify to which specific project the money should go, or leave it for us to spend it on where it is needed most. A school development program whose goal it is to encourage young children to school with a smile! For more information, click here. For a list of all the schools that we work with, click here,. The project is laid out in a three year plan, running from 2012 to 2015. By the end of 2015 we engage in aiding in the contruction of six wells. In 2015 there will be an evaluation of the results of the project. In 2015, the Guave and Lemon trees have fruit! The mango trees have died due to a wrong soil composition.

The chief decision maker and fundraiser is Mrs. Elma Snijder. Who works together with teachers and doctors in and outside Udaipur. She is responsible for raising the funds needed in order to run the projects. In addition, she has the final say in deciding where the money is spent on. And Mr. Tarun Arora. Her assistant, Mr. Mukesh Raiput. Resides in Udaipur. Mr. Raiput has working with Elma Snijder since the beginning 15 years ago, and acts as a representative when Mrs. Snijder is not in India.

Our mission is to provide impoverished primary school children with the basic tools needed in order to be able to attend school and thus gain the knowledge needed to build a future. We provide the school children with the basic amenities needed in order to be able to study.
