Wednesday, August 12, 2015. We've all been SO excited for Will and Jamie's Big Day, but maybe no one more than Brooke. Since they asked her. Brooke's talked about being a flower girl at least once a week, including several practice sessions. She perked up a bit when she put her dress on and got to talk to Aunt Jamie. Look at those sick eyes. Poor thing! She dropped Miles off shortly before the Medicine Incident and he was feeling fine, but shy. Trolley Tom was a blast and let the kids each ring the bell.

Our drives to St. Louis have not been the most relaxing as of late, largely because Miles refuses to sleep and doesn't watch a video for more than about 20 minutes at a time. Instead, he asks lots of questions, including, "Why is St. Louis so far away? And "When will be be there? About 100 times each. The kids were too hot to enjoy the playground, but they liked hanging out with the geese. They also had fun with the selfie stick. I love the Muny.

It was the first time that it was only our immediate family there and while it felt a little odd (the kids said they like it better when "everyone" is there), it was nice to have a warm, relaxing week with just the five of us. So I am happy to say I have been offered and have accepted a new job.I will be starting at Banner Ironwood in October as an EDT (emergency dept tech) and it is a FT position, with FT hours and GREAT benefits.
