Confessions of a young mother. As i walk through life. It was 5 am. September 26, 2009. Matt and I ran our first half marathon together. Fun? So yes, you do in fact see our sleepy eyes. I usually offer him anything in its basic form (no sauce, butter or salt) that we’re eating…he usually starts batting his arms around his face. Confessions of a young mother. As i walk through life. Steels in New Smyrna. September 26, 2009. Shortly after Matt and I ran our half marathon, we boarded a plane with the rest of the Steels headed to Florida! We were long overdue for a week of rest, relaxation, and being tan. Graham did GREAT for his first flight. He was a little squirmy, but when isn’t he? He just walked around my lap and even took an hour snooze. If you know my child, you know that is NOT typical. Off to the beach! Baby and daddy feet.

Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Our first visit to the Grand Mesa. The Grand Mesa, located just east of Grand Junction is one of the world's largest flat-top mountains. Below is a view of the Grand Mesa in the distance, from our upstairs bedroom window and yes, I took the picture through the screen. The highest point in elevation is just over 11,000 feet above sea level. These two pictures are not views from the top, but just some of the beautiful views along the way to the top.
