The Rogers' Family

Friday, September 6, 2013. I've joked about needing to change our blog address (mattsarahandcorrie) for the last four years because Avery and Hudson aren't represented. I finally did it! This will be my last post at this blog address. I've created a new blog at http:/ mandsrogers.blogspot.com. And will begin posting there. I've copied all of my old blogs onto this new address, so you can completely disregard this old address. See you at the new blog! Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Gardening and the Church. Matt'...

The Rogers' Family: Frog Obsession (or homeschool science)

http://www.mattsarahandcorrie.blogspot.com/2013/06/frog-obsession-or-homeschool-science.html

Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Frog Obsession (or homeschool science). One of the things I love most about homeschooling is that learning is ALWAYS happening - from learning relational skills through sibling spats to fractions while baking to biology as we study the habitat of our backyard. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Joy and Randall in Bulgaria. Spare time fun.hmm, what's that? Desiring God - John Piper. Frog Obsession (or homeschool science).

The Rogers' Family: March 2012

http://www.mattsarahandcorrie.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Saturday, March 31, 2012. The Tooth Fairy's first gig at the Rogers' House. At Corrie's 5 year well check at the end of January, the doctor told us we probably wouldn't see a loose tooth until Corrie was 6 or older. So I was very surprised when 2 days later Corrie said, "Mom, my tooth is hurting and it feels loose." I actually believed she was exaggerating until I felt it for myself and saw how wiggly it was! Holding out her tooth! No, I didn't dress up, but yes I left some money. :). He must've been rea...

The Rogers' Family: Gardening and the Church

http://www.mattsarahandcorrie.blogspot.com/2013/07/garden-of-church.html

Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Gardening and the Church. I still remember the responses of our friends and family as we explained our calling to plant a church:. So, you're going to start a church.from scratch? There won't be any people in your church? You won't have a church building? Oh, I get it! It's a church split, right? Who are you mad at and who's going with you from the old church? I thought churches just always were. I've never thought that someone, somewhere started the church I'm apart of.". So we st...

The Rogers' Family: The Garden of the Soul

http://www.mattsarahandcorrie.blogspot.com/2013/07/the-garden-of-soul.html

Tuesday, July 9, 2013. The Garden of the Soul. Raised bed Matt built. Strawberry patch that our woodland rabbit friends love as much as we do. Rascally rabbits. Last year's tomato and okra plants. As a side effect of taking up gardening, I've begun to have a better understanding of agricultural Scripture passages:. Jesus said to them, 'My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work. Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, then comes the harvest'? Joy and Randall in Bulgaria.

Sunday, January 27, 2013. We are so proud of her for trying something new and can't wait to see how she grows and matures with this experience! Calling out her name as she runs through the tunnel. She's playing on a first grade team so some of the girls are a bit bigger than her. :) Our friend from Renewal, Sam (in the blue shirt in the background), is one of the coaches. our Fordham family: November 2010

http://clifanddanielle.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

November 24, 2010. Little lessons learned from Coleton (and it's only week 2):. 1 Just when you thought it was time to change that dirty diaper, there's more to come! And sometimes LOTS more! 2 Breast feeding is a HUGE commitment, and sometimes I feel like a cow. but that's ok as long as my sweet baby boy is satisfied and growing. 3 Not all babies like bouncy seats and swings - maybe he'll learn to like them? 4 Reflux is a huge pain, especially when you weigh less than 7 pounds, and especially at 2 am.

Dying, He saved me. Buried, He carried my sins far away. Rising, He justified freely forever. One day He's coming, Oh glorious day!
