8220;I make images that recreate my experiences.”. For me, painting is not just about an artist creating an image. What is truly significant in painting is the artist s ability to create an environment in which the viewer s awareness can develop and grow. Landscape is the core of my work. I use the colours, the textures, and the shapes that I have seen around me to recall my feelings of being a part of the land, so those feelings can be experienced again.
