Saturday, June 30, 2007. Sana'a - Ibb - Taiz. Our first stop was at Hamam Dammt, which is an inactive volcano which is now filled with water. We were able to climb to the top of this and look down, providing an amazing view of the lake, as well as the bird life which resides inside the volcano. From Manakah, it was about a 3 hour drive to Sana'a, and we didn't get in until 2am. It's actually "Slave for you." Your trip sounds like fun though! June 30, 2007 at 9:49 AM. Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Torrential Rain, Car Bombs. I just took my final for my first session here, which sets a sort of 5 week mark for this trip. I now have about 4-5 days off, which I still have yet to make plans for. I was talking to a friend about possibly just relaxing in either the islands of Sukatra or Kamaran.
