We went to the Basilica of San Isodoro, which has an incredibly impressive Romanesque Pantheon in relatively good shape that has NEVER been restored. The Basilica also has a beautiful library - of course my favorite part was the huge latin music! I felt like I had entered the lake in the sixth Harry Potter book...

This one was rough, winding through narrow roads of the Andes for the whole first half of the trip. But I made it, and have left behind cross-country bus trips for at least a few years.
