I thought my story "Miraculously Bangkok" was the last about Don Muang.as the spanking new and futuristic "Suvarn.airport" opened late last year. There certainly are grounds for concern. Yes! Many cities are served by more than one airport, London, Shanghai amongst some of them.why not Bangkok? For me, I am happy to go back to Don Muang....

Looking out at the wide expanse of the tarmac, the plane lined in neat rows, and the spanking new and tastefully designed environment, one would not have imagined the controversies that surround the airport. It makes one wonder if the whole negative situation that currently exists is not someone's overplay exacerbated by the international media.

I guess I’ve finally seen it all a cab driver who could miss the turning to Bangkok's Don Muang International airport, first time in my 20 year of travel to Thailand.and believe you me there is no U-Turns along that road, all the way pass the next town of Rangsit a good 20 minutes away.
