So I definitely should be sewing napkins for an upcoming wedding. or cleaning my house. or putting finishing touches on gifts in the making. However. Have you noticed how every where you look school is on the horizon? So instead of sewing, gifting, and cleaning. I found these fun school-related items on etsy. And I fell in love. Isn't this the perfect start to the alphabet? And of course we all need calendars. This. Would definitely keep me on track. Me too :) { source. Ok, now I really should be sewing.

Will be, a very-merry Christmas. And that it was. I love Christmas. A lot. And didn't mind one bit that we had four of them this year. We spend Christmas Eve making memories with my husband's wonderful family. Christmas Day it was my family's turn, and we hosted! Matt and I both really love hosting, and realized after the day was over that we are going to need a larger dwelling place in order to continue doing so comfortably. Especially with Baby on the way :). Here's to a million more! Love and fur,.

How is it already Tuesday? Is it just me, or are the days passing so quickly? Someone, make it stop! This Thanksgiving I hosted for the first time ever. However, I did not make everything. We have a tiny kitchen and 2.4 other Thanksgiving dinners to attend each year- making it nearly impossible for me to make it all. So everyone pitched in- and it was delish! Love and be merry,. Links to this post. Well this Christmas, I'm super excited to share with you something that is dear to my heart. A way we c...

Every Hour Here: Project Life//Week Two
http://www.everyhourhere.com/2015/01/project-lifeweek-two.html
Monday, January 26, 2015. Project Life/ Week Two. Before I let it get too far away from me I thought I'd share week two of Project Life with you. Again, I used the Project 52 kit and some of the card from the Studio Calico monthly kit. Here's what I'm loving this week:. The header card helps set the color tone for the whole week. It makes everything come together easily and I have to rely less on extra embellishments. I'm really trying to focus on taking photos that showcase what we are doing now.

Every Hour Here: A Couple of Minis

Monday, January 12, 2015. A Couple of Minis. One of the things I love about Instagram is the connection with quilters from around the globe. Over the past couple of years I've been using some of the Instagram swaps as a way to learn, grow, and push myself out of my comfort zone. I love trying to come up with a plan that the recipient will love that is also fun for me to work on. This first mini is for the Schnitzel and Boo. Both of your quilts are AMAZING! Ive been wanting to get into quilting recently b...

Every Hour Here: Project Life for the New Year
http://www.everyhourhere.com/2015/01/project-life-for-new-year.html
Thursday, January 22, 2015. Project Life for the New Year. Moment of truth: I bought a whole different kit to use for 2015. Then Becky Higgins released Project 52 and I fell in love with the ease of documenting week by week using the cards in this kit. It's a total bonus that the cards are so pretty too. I'm not going to stress too much about adding extras- -although, I splurged and signed up for the Studio Calico. It really is so worth it. I signed up for the Studio Calico subscription as well! Document...

Nice To Meet You. Operation Hot Mama Update. I realize it’s been some time since my last health/fitness related post. Usually, that would indicate that I’ve fallen off that health and fitness wagon, but in this case, that’s actually not true – yay! If you follow me on Instagram. You know I’ve been keeping up with IIFYM and working out pretty consistently, and I perhaps just am not so great at keeping up with blog posts :). Here’s what my slow, sustainable change has looked like in the last year:. Februar...

OliversForest: August 2012

Tuesday, August 28, 2012. My precious baby boy turned 4 years old today! We headed up to Dallas to the Great Wolf Lodge for 2 days of fun at a water park! But, before we got to the resort, I had to make a quick stop at one of my all time favorite places to eat. Can you tell where it is from the logo? In-N-Out. mmmmmm. I used to eat there all of the time in Phoenix but they don't have one in Austin! Handsome little guy heading down for a bedtime story in his pj's. Happy Birthday to my sweet little Oliver!

Sunday, October 21, 2012. We took a little trip to San Antonio today so my dear friend, Sara, could take some photos of Oliver at the pumpkin patch. I'm so in love with these pictures! Oliver is wearing a vintage Levis western style shirt. I so wish i hadn't put that police badge tattoo on the night before these pics were taken! Yes, oliver is wearing his house slippers in these photos. he wouldn't take them off! Links to this post. Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Oliver was pretty excited about them! Just ...
