And now they have lived in Winthrop. They are the parents of three grown children. With an Associate Degree in Nursing (RN), Cherri has worked for PeaceHealth. As a Critical Care and Emergency RN and Clinical Information Systems project manager. She now works with the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium.

12 miles to the east you can find everything from fishing licenses to a fantastic Brewery in the town of Winthrop. There are 3 sporting goods stores, hardware and lumber sales and a grocery store. You have to drive by Sheri's Ice Cream and Candy Store to get to them. Gas is available at the Mazama Store (24 hours with credit card), and also in Winthrop. Verizon Cellular service is the best.
