Thoughts, experiences, news, and rumors about Mazatlan, Mexico from a Gringo perspective. Friday, November 30, 2012. Good spot for the sunset. Puerto Viejo is one of our favorite Olas Altas places. For cerveza and sunset viewing. A popular stop with El Centro residents, the beer is always cold and the chips and salsa are tasty. The building is owned by the Pacifico Brewery. Mazatlan Gringo: March 2013
http://mazgringo.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Thoughts, experiences, news, and rumors about Mazatlan, Mexico from a Gringo perspective. Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Last weekend we travelled to El Quelite expecting to attend a local charreada (a form of a rodeo). It turned out that we were a day early! Already there, we decided to check out the town a bit which we found to be utterly delightful. It is amazingly clean, uncluttered, and obviously committed to maintaining a friendly, welcoming feel.
