Forever 25: December 2013
http://forever25-becky.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 08, 2013. Icepocolypse 2013 - 3 Ways of Sledding. Our furnace stopped working in the middle of the night this morning. At 3am, I got up to do the only thing we get up at 3am to do, and I realized that I was FREEZING. If you know me at all, you know it takes a lot to make me cold! Way #1 - Recycle Box Lid. Way #2 - Recycle Box (pretty much a failure). Way #3 - Decorative Sled (plus GranDad). And Witten helped move the sand back into place when we were done. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Forever 25: Durango Day 7
http://forever25-becky.blogspot.com/2014/07/durango-day-7.html
Wednesday, July 09, 2014. There were quite a few people that were floating down the river while the kids and Mitch were playing. (I got in too, but I'm the one taking the pictures.) The water was FREEZING! I can't imagine rafting down in. Especially in a skimpy swim suit! Witten's trying to dry off before we go back to the car. When we were about to leave, we found this car that was buried in the side of the cliff. It has clearly been there for decades. The kids wanted to take a closer look. Simple templ...

Forever 25: June 2013
http://forever25-becky.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 15, 2013. Various conversations with Witten lately. Me: Is your pull-up poopy from bedtime? Me: What are the dogs doing? Witten: Maybe one is tired and one is not. Me: Do you want a waffle for breakfast? Witten: Maybe I do. Pretty much any answer to any of our questions begins with "Maybe". I wish I could think of some of the cuter ones, but you get the idea. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Conversation with a 3 Year Old. Witten: Mommy, I want to pliers you shirt. Witten: I'm trying to make it red.

Saturday, June 21, 2014. Road Trip Day 8 - The Grand Finale. I've been waiting all week for today. At some point, I found out that Rainforest Café had a sister restaurant called the T-Rex café. The only problem with it is that there are only TWO in the entire world! Luckily, one of them was on our road trip, so we stopped in for an early lunch as soon as they opened. In fact, we got there about an hour early to parooze the gift shop and let the kids each make a Build A Bear dinosaur. So. Cool! We're on o...

Friday, October 25, 2013. My grandpa died this morning around 2am. On the way to taking Witten to school, I tried to explain what happened. Here's the conversation:. Me: Do you remember Grandpa Shelfer who lived with GranJan and GranDad? Witten: Yeah.Grandpa Shelfer. Me: Yes. Well, he died this morning. Me: Well, when we go visit GranJan and GranDad, he won't be there anymore. But, do you know where he'll be? He's going to live with God now. Isn't that exciting. Witten: Yeah. That's really exciting.

Forever 25: May 2014
http://forever25-becky.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 26, 2014. For Memorial Day, we took Witten and Reese to the National Cemetery to see my grandpa's grave. They were both very good and respectful, and it was really nice to get to see the cemetery with all of the flags out. It's such a beautiful tribute to our soldiers. Friday, May 23, 2014. Last Day of School 2013-2014. Wednesday, May 21, 2014. End of Year Program. Saturday, May 10, 2014. Ok, so I'm not sure what happened, but my baby is FOUR. Then, we headed to GranJan and GranDad's to eat, ...

Thursday, February 14, 2013. It's our first Valentine's Day as a family of four, and we did it up right! Last night, Witten and I drove by Krispy Kreme to get some special heart-shaped donuts for breakfast in the morning. They were a surprise for Daddy, but trying to keep a surprise secret with a two year old might seem a bit hard. Not so much if your two year old is like Witten though. When I got home, there were roses and chocolates on the table with a post-it that said not to open the cards yet. I...

Forever 25: Durango Day 5
http://forever25-becky.blogspot.com/2014/07/durango-day-5.html
Monday, July 07, 2014. Over the weekend, we went into town a couple of times, and hung out a lot at the cabin just relaxing, so we didn't do a whole lot. Today was our BIG day! We were all quite excited before the train left. We got there about 30 minutes before it was time to leave, so we were able to get a few family pictures before we left. Witten doesn't look excited in this picture, but he was. The wind was pretty strong when we first left in the open car, as evident by Reese's hair. It was hard to ...

Forever 25: March 2013
http://forever25-becky.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 31, 2013. Reese is 9 months old, and we decided to take her pictures in her Easter dress. I can't believe that she is so big now! She has finally started feeding herself her bottle. She loves EVERY kind of baby food we have given to her. We have even just started table food and chunky baby food. I hope she's a good eater like her brother! I could pick a favorite from the shoot, so here are all of the ones a kept. Reese loved exploring her Easter basket. Here's our family Easter pic. It'...
