So I'm Staying in Texas. Alright. I guess that $4400 wasn't a realistic fundraising goal for me. So, I'm switching it up. Instead of traveling to CA for the Triathlon at Pacific Grove, I'm going to be competing in the Dave Scott Texas Man Tri. in Dallas. So, for those of you who have already donated, THANK YOU! And don't worry I'm still competing). For those of you who have been putting it off. I STILL NEED YOUR HELP. My new goal is $2400. And I need $600 (total) by July 10th. So far, I have raised $440.

I finally bought my road bike! It's amazing how much easier the rides are. Saturday we had a 'mini brick'. Rode for 1 hour, then ran for 20 min. That run was a lot harder than I wanted it to be. My legs were so tired after the ride! I'm gettin stronger, though. Swimming is coming along too. Exactly 2 months until the race! So I'm Staying in Texas. Alright. Monday, July 16, 2007. Pounding It Out Again. So, after two weeks off, I am back at it. Saturday, July 1, I got my first official running injury. What was it? So, what does it feel like? I actually had the breeze in my daughter's hair (she is my training buddy and rides in her stroller in front), and she was giggling as we ran.
