What I know about taking photographs: September 2010
http://andrearobertsontoo.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Team Up Thursday - Week 19. Choice this week and I have to say I had great fun trying to photograph my children's eyes and only their eyes. They say the eyes are the window to the soul and I couldn't agree more, I can tell exactly how my children are feeling when I look into their eyes and as they all have stunning big blue eyes it made the subject easy. Taking up the challenge:. I have only linked in to one participant in each partnership, you should easily be able to navigate from there). Pic is such a...

Team Up Thursday - Week 25. Shot this week is wonderful, she brings "elegance" to the theme with her tiny touch of colour. Adore the angle and perspective on this shot as well. Nick Nick just couldn't resist getting involved when he saw me on the floor surrounded by his toys :0). For more participants in this challenge check out my blog roll on the right. Appreciating Life: July 2015
http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 29 July 2015. Feeling kind of proud. Our house sale is finally concluding.it's been almost a year since we put our house on the market.and it's been a REALLY long year! There have been some ups and many, many downs. In my packing I have come across some old notes from Maxine, reminding me how important I am to her.you sometimes forget as your child reaches adolescence and the days become more challenging. I also found a card with body measurements from that time.hence my post today. And even i...

http://candice-enjoyingmylife.blogspot.com/2007/04/first-post.html
Enjoying My Life - Without Limits. Saturday, April 14, 2007. This year I turn 27, a bit scary, since lately I have been looking at my life and saying is this it? Really deep for my first post I suppose, but its a burning question for me at the moment, it also links back to my blog title, because I need to start Enjoying my Life - without my own self-imposed limits. Team Up Thursday - New Beginning (Week 7). I think it is quite interesting (and refreshing) that both Claire and I thought of ROMANTIC love when depicting this theme rather than perhaps the love between a parent and child, or that between siblings. My shot was taken a while ago at a wedding I photographed. I think the LOVE is very evident in the way this couple are looking at each other.I wish them a very long and happy marriage. And it one that I will cherish for a long long time. When Claire sent me th...

He was friends with my dad.and so began the next chapter in my mum's life. My dad, mum, her brother Dave, and his wife Eve (left to right) in Zambia.. I can't imagine what a culture shock it must have been for my mum.fitting into the Afrikaans ways. At Kariba dam, in Zambia. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). TUM - I Believe.

Appreciating Life: My mum's remarkable life - The dancing years
http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2015/05/my-mums-remarkable-life-dancing-years.html
Sunday, 24 May 2015. My mum's remarkable life - The dancing years. My mum was a dancer from the age of four, eventually running her own dancing school, and singing and dancing in a dance troupe. She spoke so fondly of her dancing years, doing open air concerts, mainly for elderly people. Always struggling for money, but loving her life.. My mum made all of her own dancing costumes. Sadly, he contracted cancer and passed away quite quickly. The life that she so loved so much had ended. TUM - I Believe.

Friday, 23 May 2014. Feeling despondent - such a long way to go! I've been feeling really despondent the last few weeks.I have been on what feels like a never-ending journey to lose weight this year and, my crumbs, it is taking much longer than I thought it would! In years gone by, I could simply cut out a few chocolates or biscuits, or go to the gym for a few weeks, and the weight would fall off me.not any more! Yes, I will be doing Bodypump again tomorrow morning, making it 4 classes this week!

Appreciating Life: May 2015
http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, 24 May 2015. My mum's remarkable life - Her time with me here in England. After my dad passed away in 2001, my mum was left living with my brother and his then wife (now ex). I became increasingly concerned for my mum's well-being, so I arranged for my mum to come over to England 'on holiday'. I only bought a one-way ticket. I had no intention of letting her go back. I had genuine concern for her safety. I'd go round on a weekly basis, taking groceries, cleaning, etc. More often if needed. I refu...

Appreciating Life: My mum's remarkable life - Bundles of energy and fun
http://mk-appreciatinglife.blogspot.com/2015/05/my-mums-remarkable-life-bundles-of.html
Sunday, 24 May 2015. My mum's remarkable life - Bundles of energy and fun. When you tell a story chronologically, it's hard to fit in the random bits inbetween. The bits like what a wonderfully kind, energetic, fun person my mum was. The proud mum who made her daughter's dancing costumes and did her hair in pin curls, hoping she may become the star dancer she once was. But, alas, said daughter hated the limelight.so dancing was never really going to be my thing! 26 May 2015 at 12:46. TUM - I Believe.
