Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Our friends came to visit us from NC this week. Between our family and theirs we have 7 kids. And we managed a date night! We went to dinner and then went ice skating. And believe it or not it was actually cold out so the skating felt like we really lived in the north! We had a great time! Saturday, December 19, 2009. Keep waiting and watching those mailboxes. My hard-working, funny, godly husband who loves fishing, cycling, camping, and, most of all, his family! I'm a child of God, a mom to our sweet Eli, a wife to the greatest man I know, and a technical director for a flavor company. I love a good book, a long walk, camping, cooking, being outside, and, best of all, my family. Two things that are spoke of most in the Bible is Love and Fear. They are completely opposite to one another yet we wrestle with these the most. One of my favorite quotes comes from “philosopher” Will Smith and is found in his movie After Earth. Danger is real, but fear is a choice. What a beautiful feeling to be loved!
