Welcome to my world! Adventures in the Oregon Desert! I just got back from an awesome weekend in Bend, Oregon. Bend is a majestic ski/bike/river town in southern central Oregon. Got in some high-country riding in Bend. Decided to start running at lunch again after over a year off - picked up some flashy new kicks that I am SURE make me run faster. :). Sunday, July 27, 2014. Slowly but Surely: House Projects. Thanks to Anna (for painting) and Audrey (for feeding us) for their help last week - we got the kitchen painted! Now we just need to get a final light fixture and put our shelves back up - getting close! We picked Benjamin Moore's Ozark Shadows for the grey in the kitchen. it is SO much brighter! Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Mothers Day Brunch: Treating a Mom in Style. We had impromptu Mothers Day brunch at our house on Saturday - and boy do we know how to treat a mom right? First we put her to work helping make breakfast, then we made her help clean up and wash dishes, and to put a little extra 'you're special' icing on the cake I even polished off her Mother's Day mimosa for her because I thought it was Thors! But it's not as bad as that! But she was in good company - AND she got to pick what we made.

Monday, June 30, 2014. 65 Miles for Moms 65th Birthday. For moms 65 birthday she decided to ride 65 miles - so we picked a course and off we went!
