A Small Step Forward. 연구, 학계, 컴퓨터과학, HCI. 2월부터 시작한 학기는 ‘Spring’ semester 라고 불리지만, 날씨가 봄이어서 그런건 아니었다. 2월 내내 꽁꽁 싸매고 다니다가 3월이 되니 드디어 조금은 봄의 기운이 느껴진다. 낮이 되면 해도 나고, daylight saving (80년대인가 우리나라에서도 했던 써머타임) 이 시작되면서 해도 길어졌다. 전반적인 생활도 꽤 안정적이고, 바쁘다면 바쁘고 여유롭다면 여유로운 생활을 보내고 있다. 이번학기부터 MIT Chamber Chorus. 에서 테너로 노래를 하고 있다. 20명 정도 규모의 크지 않은 합창단으로, 파트 당 5명 정도가 노래를 한다. 들어갈 떄는 오디션을 보는데, 솔로로 한 곡을 부르고 간단한 시창을 테스트한다. 합창단을 학부 내내 했으면서도 막상 이럴때 부를 노래가 없구나 탄식을 하면서, 부랴부랴 2002년인가 음악학교 때 듣기만 했던 Ombra Mai Fu 를 속성 연습해 갔다.
