http://meredithsadams.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 7, 2013. The First Two Weeks. Today, Harlan is 18 days old and it has been an amazing 18 days. Ryan and I are already starting to notice some changes he is making and it is so fun watching him grow. I will start from the beginning. Our next pediatrician appt was on July 3 and we learned Harlan had gained 9 oz in 9 days. Right on track! Dr Simmons again said Harlan looked perfect. I am so grateful for his health. Monday, December 30, 2013. Christmas Lights on the Square. The week before Christmas my family went to dinner to celebrate Ryan's birthday. After that we all went up to the square to take in the lights. I have a feeling this will become a family tradition.Harlan loves all the lights. Aunt LuLu and Uncle Spencer. Uncle JD and Allison. Mommy and Harlan, my little reindeer! The lights really are magical! Links to this post. Friday, December 27, 2013. We will continue with breast milk and I will continue nur...

Friday, April 26, 2013. Me=28 years, P-Nut=30 Weeks. Yesterday was the "big" 28. Just another typical birthday, with the exclusion of any celebratory drinks. P-Nut really enjoyed all the extra treats I got, which included 8 cupcakes all for me! I might have shared one or two. Anyway, we both cooled off by the time we got home and I was thinking back to earlier that evening when I was getting my relaxing pedicure. At least my toes sure do look pretty. Links to this post. Wednesday, September 25, 2013. The little monkey is now three months old! To say Ryan and I are obsessed with him is an understatement. He is really starting to change these days and develop new skills. This month he started daycare, got his first cold and went to his first football game! The ladies at daycare absolutely LOVE him and they tell us he smiles all day long and loves watching the other babies. Smiling at mommy and daddy. Night time diaper changes. Links to this post. I was on my back with a s...

The Pettigrew Place: January 2014
http://meredithsadams.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 27, 2014. We are officially on the backside of Harlan's first year. And what an amazing 7 months it has been! Harlan now weighs 17 lbs, 10 oz (40th percentile) and is 27.75 inches long (40th percentile). We celebrated Harlan's first Christmas this month and he was, unsurprisingly, spoiled rotten! We had such an amazing Christmas with him and he loved every minute of the attention he got. He still sleeps through the night and surprisingly could care less about a pacifier. And we aren't...

The Pettigrew Place: May 2013

Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Both of Kathy and Jerry's parents went by Grandma and Grandpa and they wanted to carry on the tradition. Classic! One of the first things dad said when we told him he was going to be a grandfather was "The baby can call me Coach." Growing up a coach's daughter, this is only fitting. My great-grandmother and mom's grandmother was called "Mama Jewel" and mom thought it would be special to go by her grandmother's name. It is very suiting. Links to this post. This gift is from Grandm...

The Pettigrew Place: 8 Months
http://meredithsadams.blogspot.com/2014/02/8-months.html
Monday, February 24, 2014. Harlan weighs 18 lbs and 10 ounces now and is such a happy little boy. His personality is really starting to develop and we love that! He truly is a very, very easy baby. We got so lucky! 8 Months was full of firsts and a super busy (and exhausting) month for HL. First time to really crawl (and hasn't stopped since! First time to eat in his high chair. Got his first cold. First time in the ducky bath. First time to pull up. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a newly wed, ...

Friday, May 16, 2014. Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. Last month we decided to take Harlan to the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Eureka Spring. It is a habitat for large a cats and some bears. It was a really neat experience and Harlan really enjoyed seeing all the animals. Surprisingly, I have lived in NWA my whole life and never been to this place. It was a bit chilly so we didn't get to stay as long as we wanted but I have a feeling we will be going back when Harlan gets a little bit older.

The Pettigrew Place: August 2013

Thursday, August 29, 2013. Harlan's First Football Pics. The week before I went back to work I got a phone call from the Coach:. Coach: What are you and HL doing? Me: Not a lot at the moment, why? Coach: I need you to bring him to the field house and get in a picture with me. So off we went. It was picture day for the Farmington Cardinal football team and it was only appropriate that Harlan be in his first football picture ever. If you couldn't tell, Coach is slightly.
