Monday, January 10, 2011. On Boxing Day, I risked getting into Newcastle-upon-Tyne - through hordes of sales shoppers and the great amassing ranks of 53,000 football supporters to entreat. There was a time, during some extended building works when the toilets were some combination of not draining and, thus, getting deeper. Phew, phew and phew again! I don't know why you do it. Y' know, they're just as happy chillin' out - maybe give them a year off next year, eh? Though I am adopted. I can hear that!

Från australiensisk vinter rakt in i Shanghai-sommaren! Kvicksilvret når 40 grader här och för oss svennar var den australiensiska vintern lite mer. lagom. 25 grader, sol, lite moln och en och annan skur. Det vill säga som en helt vanlig, eller bra, eller ok då, som en svensk supersommar! Sa vi och la oss i skuggan. Vi spenderade ett par dagar på världens största sandö, Fraser Island. Champangepoolerna visade sig bestå av simpelt havsvatten. Men det dög också att bada i. Sand, sand, sand. Jag då, jag då!
