Back in the early 80s, Dr. Marc Schenker, the former chair of the Department of Public Health Sciences, had an innovative idea to provide occupational health services to employers. Frustrated with the local, inexperienced medical entities who were charging high prices for little return, he thought there must be a better way to do this.
