As the name might suggest, there were a lot of long, dark tunnels. We gave ourselves a few scares when we forgot to take our sunglasses off before crossing through them. We didn’t realize how close the restaurant was to where we were staying and literally biked 1/2 a block to get there. Are we there yet? Happy 4th from D.C! Botanic Garden, Washington D.C.

June 23, 2015. June 29, 2015. Compared to the sheer amount of time it took to work our way down Maine’s coast alone, the rest of New England seemed to fly by. We camped, stayed with family and friends, and crashed at a hotel one night as we worked our way further down the East Coast. Nearly 700 miles completed so far.
