meesh's pottery: Road Trip to the North Country
http://meeshspottery.blogspot.com/2015/08/road-trip-to-north-country.html
Conversations about pottery.and anywhere else it takes us. Friday, August 7, 2015. Road Trip to the North Country. The weather here in New Hampshire has been great. The temperature has been hovering around 73 degrees. Chilly enough at night for flannel jammies! Tomorrow we head south to New Haven, CT. Posted by Michèle Hastings. Labels: League of NH Craftsmen. August 7, 2015 at 7:24 PM. Oh that quaint town draws me in, in my dreams an idyllic place to live and work. August 7, 2015 at 9:47 PM. Wednesday b...
meesh's pottery: A League of Our Own...
http://meeshspottery.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-league-of-our-own.html
Conversations about pottery.and anywhere else it takes us. Thursday, August 6, 2015. A League of Our Own. Tuesday was the same. Actually, it was worse. It's water under the bridge now. We have to let it go and move on. We have until October to decide wether or not we will come back next year. If we do return, there will be some changes made in regards to what we will bring for inventory. I hope that things turn around for the craftsmen that are there for the full nine days. The League has a new director ...
meesh's pottery: Do you know what this is?
http://meeshspottery.blogspot.com/2015/05/do-you-know-what-this-is.html
Conversations about pottery.and anywhere else it takes us. Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Do you know what this is? Have you seen those posts on facebook with photos of high beam buttons on the car floor, or metal ice cube trays with arms for removing ice? They always start sort of like this:. If you grew up in the 60's, and know what this is, like and share. This contraption is inside one of our kitchen cabinets:. Have you ever seen one before? Should we remove it, or leave as it's a quirky 60's house thing?
meesh's pottery: We Still Make Pots
http://meeshspottery.blogspot.com/2015/05/we-still-make-pots.html
Conversations about pottery.and anywhere else it takes us. Tuesday, May 19, 2015. We Still Make Pots. It was fun to work on mugs that others have made. If you think about it, three or four potters had a hand in making each of these mugs. Then of course there are always piggy bank orders to fill. When the shop closes, it's time to head to the other house and strip paint. Needless to say, we are pretty tired these days. Posted by Michèle Hastings. Labels: 250 mugs on the wall. May 19, 2015 at 11:04 AM.
meesh's pottery: Kitchen Facelift
http://meeshspottery.blogspot.com/2015/05/kitchen-facelift.html
Conversations about pottery.and anywhere else it takes us. Sunday, May 17, 2015. This house has a large living room and a good size den. We only had a chair for the den which was going to make it a rather sparsely furnished room. A neighbor potter is moving and she had a sofa for sale at a great price, so we snatched it up! It's a sofa-bed and was a b! That light really has to go. I am just not into the wild west decor. Posted by Michèle Hastings. May 17, 2015 at 10:16 AM. They have come a long way.

http://libertystoneware.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
A pottery blog about making, experimental archaeology, farming, and musings about historic pottery! Process and Kiln Building. Thursday, June 11, 2015. A Little Kiln Christmas. A very kind person with a kindred interest in pottery history and kiln furniture sent me a wonderful package recently. It contained sherds and kiln furniture from several pottery sites in Missouri. This is like Christmas for a nerdy person like me. Nearly every piece in the box was individually wrapped! Hopefully the two views abov...

A pottery blog about making, experimental archaeology, farming, and musings about historic pottery! Process and Kiln Building. Friday, February 27, 2015. Small Potential Potter's Hands. Needless to say, the last four weeks have been quiet here on the blog! I had my baby on January 30th! Mattias (Muh-tie-us) George was born at 5:13 am and has been growing like a weed! He has fairly long fingers, so maybe he has potential as a potter, or a great fiddler! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Upcoming Shows and Events.

cerámica con minúscula: octubre 2014
http://ceramica-minuscula.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

http://ceramica-minuscula.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html

http://ceramica-minuscula.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Danny Holland - Taylor's Creek Pottery: March 2012
http://danhollandpots.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Danny Holland - Taylor's Creek Pottery. Saturday, March 31, 2012. I enjoyed firing up some large terracotta pots in the gas kiln. It's so good not having to mix some (sometimes filthy) fuels together, soooo clean.so easy, and also cheap as [efficient]. Spyhole on the gas kiln- 800 deg. celsius and cooling. Bottom shelf of the 'crypt' (salt glaze kiln) plus test tiles and clay sheath [top left] to protect the probe from salt. If only it was like this all the time! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A little bit ...

Meesh's House of cards
Tuesday, 1 October 2013. Here I am again with some more inspiration for the Make It Colourful challenge. This time it's eyes. I do love drawing and colouring eyes, so I loved this challenge. We've used some GORGEOUS new digi's for this one. the Portraits collection. I coloured them up with different mediums because I wanted to see how different they'd turn out. Anyway, without further a do, here they are. Here's 'Ginger' using coloured pencils. Here's 'April' using graphite pencils. Links to this post.

meesh's pottery
Conversations about pottery.and anywhere else it takes us. Tuesday, April 3, 2018. The Garden of Eden. EDEN" came out of the kiln yesterday. Isn't she sweet? The buyer made the perfect choice of color and carving for a little girl named Eden. March was the month of the big piggy bank. Most every order I had was for our large size bank. The larger piggy banks are about 8" in length and 7 1/2" from hoof to ear. After making a round of these hogs, our standard size seems so small to work on. I think this is...

Masala Mind
My mind is like a flavorful masala chat. A mind of a million random thoughts and more. Thursday, December 13, 2012. GOD GPS: Destiny v.s. Action. I have been thinking, and a lot about destiny. Why are we here? What is our path. I know many people reflect when confused, or in their quiet time, or when things go totally haywire for them. Well, so as I said, I have been thinking. How about getting a blue print of the map in your brain when you are born (oh wait, you already get that). But wait, we are so he...
