Omnia Exeunt In Mysterium. Friday, 13 August 2010. On the respective world views of M.R. James and S.T. Joshi. Anyway, just for fun, here's a run down of my favourite M.R. James stories, in a rough sort of order. Embodying another favourite Jamesian narrative, in which terrible historical events are re-enacted before a powerless and horrified protagonist, The Mezzotint portrays the supernatural on two levels; firstly in the titular print, whose mysterious and unique animation is without explanation or lo...

Torwen's Blog: Sqash goes well with cranberries
http://torwen.blogspot.com/2013/12/sqash-goes-well-with-cranberries.html
Tuesday, December 03, 2013. Sqash goes well with cranberries. I had a bit of butternut squash left in the fridge and today I used up in this nice and spicy tagine:. The recipe was taken from the BBC Good Food. Webpage (pumpkin, cranberry and red onion tagine) with minor adjustments. As I said, I used butternut squash instead of pumpkin and agave syrup instead of honey. I also didn't have harissa paste in the house, so I used some red Thai curry paste :). A very yummy result. Manningham cold case (? 8211; Sorry – gone off on a tangent again. So to the post. Look at the map , and you can see Bateman street running across the bottom of Thorncliffe Road . The name still remains , but the houses have gone. The same applies to Thorncliffe Road – the name remains but the houses are gone. Somewhere down on this road , stood the house where young John Gill lived , with his family, and I must point out that he wasn’t a Ragamuffin street urchin, but a much loved and wanted child. The Mirfield Murders 1847. Drawing of Water Royd House. Water Royd House had no neighbouring properties and stood up a private lane off of Water Royd lane, surrounded by fields and footpaths .
