Catskill Paper: January 2009
http://catskillpaper.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2009. I am involved in the Sketchbook project which is through the Art-House Co-op. About 2,700 sketchbooks from around the globe will be shown in various venues throughout the US, from Museums to Galleries, to Art coops and Coffeehouses. Each sketchbook is about 36 pp., and is about 3.5 x 5.5 or so in size. Any medium can be used, all books accepted and the theme is EVERYONE WE KNOW. There once was a man with long hair. Whose beard when from here down to THERE. So he has it no more.

Catskill Paper: December 2008
http://catskillpaper.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2008. NY City show review. I realized that I never commented back on this show. Many of you pushed me to have confidence and try it out. Reach for the stars. Go beyond Ulster County. I am glad it did it, though the rewards were not necessarily monetary. They loved my fine art, and though I did sell some work, I knew that they too were feeling the crunch of this fragile economy, and were not in the market to drop money on art or anything else for that matter. The joy and excitement...

Catskill Paper: Current Studio Work
http://catskillpaper.blogspot.com/2009/09/current-studio-work.html
Monday, September 28, 2009. I got into the studio yesterday for the first time in weeks. I spent a good five hours in there cleaning, getting reacquainted with everything (it takes a bit to locate and set up supplies for my various projects) and making both cards and art. I had hoped that the muse would pay me a visit, even if I was only making cards, and she did, only it always isn't what you expected. I call myself a bricolage. Today I am a bit stressed about some medical issues that my daughter has...

http://catskillpaper.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 20, 2009. In an effort to streamline operations here at 17 Mountainview, I am going to drop this blog, drop my fan page on Facebook, and just keep Twitter for the public, (found under pagibbons), Facebook for my local, virtual, and business friends, and all blogs will be posted at my other blog, EAT MAN DRINK WATER. However I am going to keep two Etsy accounts going. Catskillpaper for the ephemera, and Pagibbons for my art. Ebay is still Catskillpaper. Posted by Patti Gibbons. I will go ...
