The Act of Saying I: INFESTATION

http://meghanrosebrennan.blogspot.com/2009/05/not-real-great-at-this-but-then-again.html

May 30, 2009. So this week we had a nest of huge horse flies hatch in our house. We have no idea where they came from but let me tell you, they are here and they are massive. I mean between the two of us we have killed 18 bugs in 2 days. They aren't your average house fly either, they have spiny backs and red eyes! See like right now, one of those things is in the other room knocking over lamps and glass ware. Where did these things come from? And why are they mutant size? We think they may bite.

The Act of Saying I: August 2007

August 29, 2007. Rodin's Lover, Camille Claudel. Because Rodin was Camille's teacher and lover, people always assumed that her work was merely an imitation of his. Nothing could be further from the truth, and Rodin himself said, 'I showed her where to find the gold, but the gold she found was truly her own.'. August 10, 2007. Sound of a Heart Breaking. August 8, 2007. Was suffocating under her heavy load, she could barely cry for help her mouth dry and cracked under the weight of Carl Jung and his Dreams.

September 4, 2006. Teddy Roosevelt Says It All. Citizenship ina Republic; Speech delivered at the Sorbonne, Paris. April 23, 1910. To Yoga or Not to Yoga. Okay I'm back. After a summer hiatus from my blog, I have decided to return. Trying to keep my head above water in school and then a two week vacay in Georgia at the beach doing absolutely nothing and eating massive meals at Paula Deen's southern cookin' restaurant, I have left myself no choice but to join a 60 day yoga challenge.

Megan's Space: May 2006

http://megans-space.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 13, 2006. Since I can't be with you all for our last class I thought I'd post this picture of our lunch gatherings from a couple of weeks ago! While I wish I could be there with you all tomorrow, I must say that it has been well worth all the stress and craziness to be away for this weekend. For those of you who don't know, I flew home to Indy this weekend for a round of surprises! The details became insane, but I must say things pulled off better than I could have expected! Anyway, I hope ...

Lisa's Words and Images Blog. Saturday, May 13, 2006. Summer Reading (and farewell to the semester! When I was in elementary and middle school we always had required summer reading books as well as summer reading goals. As an adult, perhaps out of habit, I always gather a makeshift list together of "summer reading books" for myself. Here's my list for this summer (in addition to the newest Harry Potter novel which has been on my nightstand for months! Posted by LisaR6001 @ 10:27 AM. How bout dem Os?

Lisa's Words and Images Blog: What am I annoyed with today...

http://lisachristine14189.blogspot.com/2006/04/what-am-i-annoyed-with-today.html

Lisa's Words and Images Blog. Friday, April 28, 2006. What am I annoyed with today. And this entire set was one of the most affordable we could find that was still of very good quality. So we ordered it on March 31. They told us it would be delivered by April 5. So we waited. And waited. Fortunately, they set up delivery for the next day, how nice. The delivery truck pulled up this week on Tuesday morning and dropped off a table, an umbrella and the umbrella base. "Where are the chairs? So a word of advi...

Downtown Dina Brown: April 2006

http://dinakarkarsblogs.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 28, 2006. Classification- Who Are You? I brought in the book to class- It has very insightful things about personality types, religion, thinking styles.etc.The book is a great example of classification. Also, the book tries to help identify who you are. Whether you are an extrovert or introvert, a visual learner or mechanical learner etc.I think it's important knowing who you really are, and what you stand for. What drives you, what makes you happy, what do you want out of life. Http:/ blog...

PBDS 601: 3.14 *Pi Day*

http://kaiwat.blogspot.com/2006/03/314-pi-day.html

Tuesday, March 14, 2006. So today is International Pi Day, because its 3.14 - (get it? I heard on the radio that people are celebrating by singing songs (which consist of the first 50 digits or so in the number), eating pie, and generally just making semi-witty comments about all things pi-related. If you printed a billion decimals of pi in normal type, it would stretch from New York city to the middle of Kansas. March 14 is also Albert Einstein's birthday - coincidence, or mathematical probability?

Tuesday, April 25, 2006. A Picture worth a little less than a thousand words. So, here it is! This is the picture of the staff at The Career Center with hottie Mayor O'Malley! He even signed it for all of us! What a nice guy! I think you can tell by the smiles on all of the women's faces that we were more than happy to have our picture taken with Mr. Mayor! Don't be too jealous of us! Posted by Megan @ 12:48 PM. View my complete profile. The Icon of Google. Playing a little catch-up. Spring in D.C.

Lisa's Words and Images Blog. Tuesday, April 18, 2006. No, not that kind of topless - put away those Mardi Gras beads. I'm talking convertibles. I have mad convertible envy this Spring, mainly because I decided this past December to get rid of my old car, a convertible, and switch to a more practical car. While I absolutely love my new car, I'm really craving the wind in my hair. Posted by LisaR6001 @ 6:41 PM. I want to go topless too! LOL I want a convertible so bad! I'd love one, too! Time for a really...

The Act of Saying I

February 6, 2010. October 2, 2009. Bahhh, the Blank Page is f-ing horrifying. Monday, June 16, 2014. Let me paint you a picture. It's June 16, 2010. Fast forward 4 years later. I'm sitting in that same. Bedroom, drinking that same. Tea my mom has made me since middle school, in that same. Mug I stole from my dad when I was 15, texting the same. Best friends I've had since the day I turned 11. So much of my life has stayed the same. Yet so much has changed. In these last four years I hardly recognize the life I live. I am who I am today because of this journey. All of that changed&...
